windows ink update fix
I woke up having work to do on my surface pro after an windows update. Suddendly the pen that i use to draw with started to pan the page rather then draw. It also started to scroll in webbrowser instead of selecting text etc.....
I searched for a solution and apparantely couldn't find a fix for all those issues. But since i did find a solution that at least enables me to draw in photoshop again. i thought i would spread the fix in case some of my followers have the same issue and can't find the fix.
here are the steps you need to do:
Thankfully the fix does work but yes confusing if you're not used to command prompts.
Click on your search bar near the bottom left
type in "cmd" - a command prompt app should come up, click on it
on that black & white text input box copy & paste “reg add HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Pen /v LegacyPenInteractionModel /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f”
press enter
reset your computer
PS don't copy the " symbols
I really hope windows is aware of the problem since it's basically fucks up the whole reason people would use a pen in the first place
